This past month we caught up with 2017 Horizon guard Henry Walsh. Walsh is going to be the floor general and a senior leader for head coach Jerry Conner & his Huskies.

When we talked to Walsh we asked him about his summer. He said, “July was great it felt great to get back into playing and feeling the game around.” When asked about what he has improved on, he said, “I improved the most with my shot and taking more shots. When they started going in it helped me with which shots I should and shouldn’t take. I’m still working on trying to get stronger and bigger to be more physical for the season.”

Walsh has a strong outlook for the Huskies of Horizon this season. “I think this year we are young and if we stay healthy, we will be successful. I enjoy playing at Horizon because the players there all have each other’s back and push each other to work harder. We also have a great Dawg Pound to cheer us on.

Walsh has not heard from any schools yet but keep tabs on his recruitment at PrepHoops Arizona.
